Nokia in CommunicAsia 2009: Aims to target Asian Mobile market

Earlier this month a research announced that the popularity of Nokia mobile phone has decreased. By surveying on some of 112,000 young mobile users, the results come that the popularity comes 8 percent less that the previous year. The losing percentage of the top mobile phone share holders, was occupied my the Korean Mobile companies, Samsung brand mobile phone manufacturer Samsung Electronics Co Ltd and LG bran by LG Electronics Inc. Although the researcher organization explained the cause of decreasing market share, the new touch phone from Nokia brand let in the mass market. The explanation is saying that after launching Nokia 5800 touch-screen got hut support form the youth but during the first quarter of the year 2009, it lost its 36% LG and Samsung captured 29 percent of losing.

"The 5800 was a great start for Nokia in addressing this global youth market, but it needs sibling models and spin-offs right now; the Koreans are churning out new touch devices on a monthly basis," Kuittinen said.

More than Fifty percent of world’s people live in Asian regions. Mobile phone users are incasing day by day that numbers will be approximately 1.8 million. But, most interesting thing is, a bid numbers are from South Asia and China.

Nokia has taken it very seriously and has targeted the upcoming 20th International Communication and Information Technology Exhibition & Commerce, CommunicAsia, Singapore Expo that is going the commence on in Singapore from 16-19 June 2009. At this moment Nokia is holding the 36.2 percent of mobile share worldwide. If they would get success then it will extend their way. But they have to compete with the two Asian Mobile Company Samsung and LG. Asian companies’ most positive side it cheap labor.
